Cookie policy

We explain transparently which storage technologies the advertorialeseo.eu website uses, why we use them and how you can control your preferences at any time. In short: this website does not set tracking cookies.

In short

Our website does not set any tracking cookies and by default does not load statistics or marketing scripts. In your browser we store only localStorage entries: sg_consent_v1, which remembers your choices from the consent banner, and a few functional preferences that you set yourself (theme, website campaign, tool drafts), listed below. Any scripts in the optional categories would, in future, load only after your explicit consent.

What cookies are – and how localStorage differs

Cookies are small text files that a website saves, through your browser, on your device (computer, phone, tablet). On each later visit, the browser automatically sends the cookies back to the site that created them. They are commonly used for authentication, remembering preferences, measuring traffic or advertising.

localStorage is a different storage mechanism in the browser: the data stays exclusively on your device and is not sent automatically to the server with every request, as happens with cookies. It can be read only by pages of the same site and remains saved until you delete it.

The consent rules – Art. 4 of Law no. 506/2004 on the processing of personal data and the protection of privacy in the electronic communications sector (the Romanian implementation of the ePrivacy rules), together with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) – apply to any storage of information, or access to information stored, on your equipment. That is why we treat localStorage on the same principles as cookies and tell you about it on this page.

What we actually use on this website

advertorialeseo.eu is a static showcase website: it has no user accounts, no online forms and does not process payments on the page. By default, the website does not set any cookies – neither its own nor third-party ones. The only information we store in your browser is:

Name Type Purpose Duration
sg_consent_v1 localStorage (local storage, not a cookie) Remembers your consent choices from the cookie banner – the categories accepted and the date of the choice – so that we do not show you the banner again on every page Until manually deleted from the browser; your preference is valid for 12 months at most – after this period the banner automatically asks for your consent again

The stored value is a short text containing only the categories chosen (necessary, statistics, marketing) and a timestamp. It stays exclusively in your browser: it is not sent to us and is not sent to any third party. If your browser blocks localStorage (for example, in some private browsing modes), the website works normally – the only consequence is that the consent banner may reappear on every visit.

The categories in our banner

On your first visit we show you a banner with three categories. Here is what each means:

Strictly necessary – always active

Covers only the operation of the website and remembering your consent choice (the sg_consent_v1 entry described above). These functions do not require consent, as they are necessary to provide the service you request – displaying the website and respecting your choices.

Statistics – off by default

A category reserved for possible traffic-measurement tools. We currently use no statistics scripts. If we introduce one, it will load only after you tick this category and save your choice.

Marketing – off by default

A category reserved for possible advertising scripts or personalised content from third parties. We currently use no marketing scripts. As with statistics, nothing in this category is activated without your explicit consent.

True blocking before consent

Technically, any scripts in the optional categories are included in the page in an inactive state and are activated by the consent mechanism only for the categories you have accepted. Until then, your browser does not run them and sends no request to the servers concerned. “Accept all” activates both optional categories, “Necessary only” leaves them off, and “Save preferences” applies exactly what you ticked.

How to change your preferences

You have two simple ways, which you can use at any time:

  1. The “Cookie settings” button in the footer of any page – it reopens the banner with your current choices. You can tick or untick the optional categories and then press “Save preferences”. The new choice applies immediately.
  2. Clearing the site’s data in your browser – this removes the sg_consent_v1 entry, and the banner will be shown to you again on your next visit, as to a new visitor.

Brief instructions for clearing the site’s data:

  • Google Chrome: Settings → Privacy and security → Third-party cookies (or Cookies and other site data) → See all site data and permissions → search for “advertorialeseo.eu” → Delete.
  • Mozilla Firefox: Settings → Privacy & Security → Cookies and Site Data → Manage Data → search for “advertorialeseo.eu” → Remove.
  • Microsoft Edge: Settings → Cookies and site permissions → Manage and delete cookies and site data → See all cookies and site data → search for “advertorialeseo.eu” → Delete.
  • Safari (macOS): Safari → Settings → Privacy → Manage Website Data → search for “advertorialeseo.eu” → Remove. On iPhone/iPad: Settings → Safari → Advanced → Website Data.
Our recommendation

Although localStorage does not expire by itself, we recommend reviewing your choice about once every 12 months. If we significantly change this policy or introduce new scripts in the optional categories, we will ask for your consent again before activating them.

Cookies set by third parties

We do not embed any content loaded from third parties in our pages: we do not use fonts from external networks, libraries from CDNs, embedded social media buttons or frames (iframes) from other platforms. Therefore, while you browse advertorialeseo.eu, no third party can set cookies through our website.

The website does, however, contain links to third-party platforms: the WhatsApp buttons and the link to our Facebook page. If you follow them, you leave our website, and those platforms (operated by Meta) may set their own cookies, under their own privacy and cookie policies, over which we have no control. These links open in a new tab, so the choice to follow them is entirely yours.
