Publishing rules
Please read the rules below carefully before you send us material for publication. Following them keeps your content legally compliant and lets us process your order quickly – as a rule within 24 working hours.

Technical requirements
- Send the article as a Word (.docx) file, with the links you want already inserted in the text, on the matching anchor texts.
- Each article is delivered in its own Word document – one file per article.
- Send the accompanying image separately, as a JPG or PNG in landscape orientation.
- The image must have its source credited or be free of copyright restrictions (a free-to-use licence).
Publishing time
- Wherever possible, we publish within 24 working hours at most of receiving compliant materials.
- We publish Monday to Friday.
- Non-compliant materials are returned to you with an explanation, so you can correct them quickly.
Responsibility for the content
- The person or entity submitting the article for publication is fully responsible for the accuracy of the information presented.
- This responsibility also covers the legality of the content, including the rights to use the texts and images supplied.

- Articles about illegal, immoral or legally prohibited activities.
- Political content.
Completely prohibited
- Disguised or subliminal advertising – articles written as “independent” reviews or personal accounts that conceal the paid nature of the material.
- Prescription-only medicines (Rx) – promoting medicines dispensed solely on a doctor’s prescription is strictly forbidden by law.
- Illegal substances, drugs or weapons – advertising narcotic or psychotropic substances, or weapons and ammunition (except hunting/sporting ones, in clearly delimited contexts), is completely prohibited.
- Tobacco products / e-cigarettes – direct or indirect advertising in the print press and on websites is prohibited.

Allowed, but with strict restrictions
Conditionally accepted categories
- Adult content / gambling – accepted only if the title and image are decent.
- Gambling – only operators holding an ONJN licence (Romania’s National Gambling Office) are accepted; adverts for bonuses are not accepted. Materials must follow ONJN guidelines, must not target minors and must include the mandatory warnings about the risk of addiction and the ban on access for under-18s.
- Food supplements and cosmetics – they cannot be credited with properties for treating or curing diseases (e.g. “the tea that cures diabetes”). Under the rules of ANPC (the Romanian consumer protection authority) and CNA (the National Audiovisual Council), supplements do not replace medical treatment and cannot guarantee results.
- Alcohol – advertising of spirits is restricted; it may not be aimed at minors and may not suggest that alcohol improves physical or social performance.
- Financial services (loans, crypto, forex) – materials must contain clear statements about financial risks and interest (the DAE, Romania’s annual percentage rate of charge) and may not promise quick riches.
Rejected wording and practices
We do not publish advertorials in the following forms
Practices rejected at review
- A paid article presented as an “independent news story”.
- Claims such as “the best in Romania”, “number 1”, “guaranteed” – without verifiable studies or evidence.
- Messages such as “last places left” or “offer valid today only”, if they do not reflect reality.
- Medical claims such as “cures”, “treats for sure”, “lose weight, guaranteed”.
- Attacks on competitors: “company X is poor”, “the others are scammers”.
- Fake reviews or invented testimonials.
- Using a person’s image without their consent.
- Images taken from the internet without a licence for use.
- Advertorials for prohibited or heavily regulated products or services.
Legal framework – Law 148/2000 on advertising: the law prohibits subliminal advertising and advertising that offends human dignity, includes discrimination, harms a person’s image, honour or private life, exploits fear or promotes goods or services sold illegally. All materials published through Succes Grup must comply with these provisions.
